The iOxy, consisting of an SpO₂ (blood oxygen saturation) sensor, an electronic unit and cable, is intended to be connected to Breas iSleep 20+ eAdapt, 20i and 25 for logging SpO₂ and heart rate during CPAP and BiLevel ventilation for postanalysis. The SpO₂ and heart rate measurements will be stored in the device treatment log which can be downloaded to a PC and viewed in the iSleep PC Software. Nocturnal oximetry (SpO₂) offers an alternative and objective screening method to confirm iSleep/NIV treatment efficacy.
