ADAPTABLE TO CLINICAL NEEDS

Care institutions must be able to treat a variety of patients with different respiratory conditions and treatment requirements. Having to manage a wide range of devices to meet those different needs is a challenge. Vivo 45 offers an array of modes, settings and accessory options for customizing the treatment to the individual patient.

One device for many patients and conditions

Vivo 45 is intended for invasive and non-invasive treatment of adults and children from 10 kg, with spontaneous breathing, who require different levels of respiratory support with up to 24 hours’ usage time. Ventilator modes include pressure support and pressure control ventilation with or without Target Volume as well as a CPAP mode, with three settable profiles. In combination with extensive treatment settings and alarms, this makes Vivo 45 an excellent choice for patients diagnosed with chronic respiratory insufficiency or failure in conditions such as COPD, ALS, Duchenne and other chronic respiratory conditions.

Easy to learn, easy to use

When treating many different types of patients, it is important to have a ventilator that is easy to learn, easy to use and saves time while setting up the patient. Vivo 45 has a user interface based on the highly intuitive menu structure of the Vivo 50/60/55/65 ventilators, with direct-access buttons and no sub-menus. Any medical staff or care provider can quickly get familiar with Vivo 45 and feel confident using it. Furthermore, the language of the device can be set according to the preference of the user.

Easy interaction for patients

Patients using ventilators over a long period get to know their own requirements and how their ventilator settings sometimes need to be adjusted from one situation to another. The ‘Home Adjust’ mode allows the physician to set a window within which patients can fine-tune settings for optimal breathing comfort.
