We are happy to announce that Breas has been awarded the TogetherTech “Better World Developer Award” for the development of the Vivo 1-2-3 platform. The award was handed over at a ceremony at Breas´ head office in Mölnlycke, Sweden, with representatives from both TogetherTech and Breas present.
About the award
The Better World Developer Award aims to highlight companies or organizations who “through their product development, have excelled in contributing to a better world” (link). There are five criteria for the award: reduce environmental impact, reduce human suffering, make people’s daily lives easier, increase security and facilitate communication. Obviously, the committee has placed great importance to the ways the Vivo 1-2-3 can help respiratory patients achieve a better quality of life, and we are of course honored with their decision!
“Our vision is to develop the products of the future for a better world and we hope that the Better World Developer Award can inspire even more people to want to develop even better products. Breas Medical is a role model both as a company and through its products that directly contribute to saving people’s lives.”, says Sara Lindmark, CEO of TogetherTech, in a comment.
The award also shows how engineers at Breas can make a difference and contribute to a better world by developing and maintaining innovative respiratory solutions. That being said, the award is really a recognition of the hard work, not only of the engineering team, but of all employees who contributed to the development and production of Vivo 1-2-3. In the end, it is all about teamwork to make our vision come true of ‘Innovation for Better Breathing and Quality of life’.
